Sandy Island Snorkel Trip
Sandy Island is in the heart of the Sandy Island Oyster Bed Marine Protected Area, and consists of a long beach crowned by palm trees. A ridge of coral reef runs close to the island, where turtles and large schools of fish can be spotted throughout the year.
Around five minutes boat ride from our dive centre in Tyrell Bay, Sandy Island is popular for snorkelling & relaxing afternoons getting away from it all.
We offer excursions to Sandy Island, departing after lunch at the "Paradise Beach" restaurant just in front of the island and returning around 5pm.
Price per person: $US 108 including lunch (1 mineral water included) and snorkeling equipment rental.
Alcoholic beverages and additional drinks are at your expense.
